Maryland Institute College of Art Klots International Program for Artists in Brittany, France

I'm also an alum of this program and highly recommend it!

The Maryland Institute College of Art is pleased to announce that it
is now accepting applications for the 2013 sessions of The Alfred and
Trafford Klots International Program for Artists in Brittany, France.

The dates of our two five-week sessions are:

Session I: Saturday May 18 to Friday June 21, 2013

Session II : Saturday June 29 to Friday August 2, 2013

The application deadline is February 1, 2013.

Those awarded a Residency will be notified by March 1, 2013.

The MICA Artist Residency in Brittany is housed in the medieval
riverside village of Léhon, a "Petite Cité de Caractère." Léhon is
graced by a ninth-century abbey and its gardens and by the ruins of
the oldest fortress in Brittany on a hill overlooking the village.
Léhon is a short walk along the river
Rance to the city of Dinan, which holds the coveted designation "Cité
d'Art et d'Histoire" and is close to Dinard, St. Malo, Mont Saint
Michel, and Rennes. The fishing villages and beaches of the Emerald
Coast are but a short drive away.

Competitive residencies are open to artists and artist-couples working
in any media. Complete information, including the on-line application
form, is available at
