For its 6th edition, the Tbilisi Photo Festival is launching its first ever Residency Program, for photographers and photography curators. 

APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 25, 2015 

RESIDENCY DATES AND DURATION: Established or emerging photographers or photography curators will work over an agreed period of 2 - 5 weeks between December 30 2015 and May 30, 2016, spending a minimum of 15 consecutive days working in Tbilisi. 

DESCRIPTION: The brief for the residency is open, and we are looking for interesting and creatively ambitious proposals from photographers and photography curators from the European Region* and Iran. 

Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

-        the originality and quality of their proposal

-        artistic and professional quality of their work

-        extent to which the residency contributes to applicant’s development

-        relevance to applicant’s creative and professional goals

AWARDS:  One photographer or photography curator will receive a €1,000 bursary. Tbilisi Photo Festival will cover the cost of travel to Tbilisi (around €400) and accommodation during the residency, with additional support presenting their final work.
